Bio: Cassandra Pisone
My name is Cassandra Pisone, and I am a sophomore at West Virginia University. I am studying abroad with WVU’s Exchange Program at Lingnan University in Hong Kong this semester.
I am also a student of the Honors College, and I was a co-mentor for Honors 199 this fall. This past summer I studied abroad in Italy for a month with the Disegno Italia program.
I am originally from Indiana, PA, but grew up in Beckley, WV, where I graduated from
Woodrow Wilson High School in 2007. I am working on dual degrees in Fashion Design and Merchandising and Marketing with a minor in French.
In Morgantown I am a sister of the social sorority Sigma Kappa and an officer for the Fashion Business Association. At home in Beckley I work at American Eagle, where I worked for almost two years. I also love to stay active, mostly running (thanks to my high school cross-country days) but also swimming, playing tennis, yoga, and biking!
Other than fashion, traveling is my other passion. I spent the summer before my first year at WVU in Europe. I spent time in England, France, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. It is one of my career goals to work and live in Paris and/or London after graduating before graduate school.
